We often think love means letting people choose their own way. But Jesus seems to think love can also mean having the boldness to point them in the right direction.
After rediscovering his faith in college, Garrett began full-time service to the local church in 2012. For six years he worked with Watermark Community Church’s young adult’s ministry called The Porch, before moving to New York City to start Mission City Church in 2019. Garrett holds doctoral and master’s degrees in Christian education from accredited seminaries. He and his wife Gabi live in Brooklyn with their two daughters. Garrett also serves as a member of Mission City’s elder team.
