The Bible proclaims what should be, but everyday life shows what is. The act of closing the gap between the two is what the Bible calls "justice."
After rediscovering his faith in college, Garrett began full-time service to the local church in 2012. For six years he worked with Watermark Community Church’s young adult’s ministry called The Porch, before moving to New York City to start Mission City Church in 2019. Garrett holds doctoral and master’s degrees in Christian education from accredited seminaries. He and his wife Gabi live in Brooklyn with their two daughters. Garrett also serves as a member of Mission City’s elder team.
